A little bit more about Zachary Walsh

Originally from Manchester Walsh was brought up in an artistic household. Having gained a 1st class honours in fine art from John Moores Liverpool University he went on to study further at the Royal Collage of Art, London and graduated in 1999 with an MA in Illustration.
Since finishing his studies he has remained in London where he has exhibited widely in galleries, both in solo and group shows, as well as showing as far away as Japan, Mexico, France and Ireland. Wherever his work is seen it has been admired for its poise and sincerity.

Recent projects and exhibitions include a commission from Korn Ferry Holland Park Opera, a solo show Cottonopolis with the Signal Gallery in east London and the MTV European Awards Liverpool where his work was exhibited in the artist bar and green rooms.
Walsh has also been involved in some of the most exciting London group shows of late including Saints and Sinners organised by artrepublic (Soho) gallery at the St. Martins Lane Hotel, and Hope in Life where Walsh alongside artist Matt Small and others worked with young people to encourage them to make their own creative statement through street art and music. Walsh helped lead workshops across London which resulted in an exhibition with Black Rat Press.
